Dr. Jason Desranleau was born and raised in the West Island. Initially, he was interested in genetics research, which led him to completing a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at Concordia University. However, after completing the degree, he felt a calling to pursue medicine. He was first introduced to the wonderful Timberlea Veterinary Clinic while volunteering to determine if he preferred animal or human medicine (spoiler alert, veterinary medicine won!) He made the bold decision to pursue his vet studies abroad at the Royal Veterinary College in London, England. After graduating in 2022, he decided to return to his roots in Montreal and to come back to the clinic which sparked his love of animal medicine.
He is grateful to be working with such a diverse team and is looking forward to pursuing his interests in diagnostic imaging and ophthalmology. During his free time, he enjoys hiking and gaming.
